Walgreens Trip 1/4/10

Headed over to Walgreens to use up some Electrosol coupons. I didn't want to wipe out their stock so here's what I picked up:

Photobucket

I paid $7.36, got back $8 in Register Rewards for a net total .64 profit!

I split them up into 4 transactions because only one register reward will print even if you buy 2 items. I normally don't do more than 2 transactions on a single visit, but they weren't busy at all and I asked the cashier before hand if she minded.

Transaction 1
1 Electrosol - $3.49 (get $1 RR)
2 Chips Ahoy 6 oz cookies - .99 (Buy 2 get $2 RR)
Used $2.50/1 Electrosol from 1/3 SS
Used $1/2 Nabisco Cookies from the Nabisco Year of Savings booklet
Paid $2.35 got back $3 in RR - Total Cost .65 moneymaker

Transaction 2 (same as 1)
1 Electrosol - $3.49 (get $1 RR)
2 Chips Ahoy 6 oz cookies - .99 (Buy 2 get $2 RR)
Used $2.50/1 Electrosol from 1/3 SS
Used $1/2 Nabisco Cookies from the Nabisco Year of Savings booklet
Paid $2.35 got back $3 in RR - Total Cost .65 moneymaker

Transaction 3
1 Electrosol - $3.49 (get $1 RR)
Used $2.50/1 Electrosol from 1/3 SS
Paid $1.33 got back $1 in RR - Total cost .33

Transaction 4
1 Electrosol - $3.49 (get $1 RR)
Used $2.50/1 Electrosol from 1/3 SS
Paid $1.33 got back $1 in RR - Total cost .33

Note about the cookie deal - even without coupons this deal makes for FREE cookies!
Buy 2 Chips Ahoy 6 oz - .99 get back $2 in RR
Pay $1.98 get back $2!! FREE!

If you are hesitant to do this deal at Walgreens because you don't want to be stuck with the Register Rewards (you can't use the $1 Register reward to buy another Electrosol because your new RR will not print), remember that you can use Walgreens Register Rewards at Jewel because they are manufacturer coupons!
