I spent $1.44 for everything shown in the picture above (savings of 98%)!!
If you look at this week's ad, they have a few deals going when you buy 5 of an item you get $5 off. The items pictured at the bottom of the front page with price points of $1, $1.50, and $2 are all mix and match so you can buy any 5 you don't have to stay in one price point. The deal inside the flap with the .99 price point are a separate deal, so be sure not to mix them together or your instant deduction will not come off! There are several coupons for $1/1 of the cereal that is $1 wyb 5 so that makes them FREE!
Here's the deals I did:
- Buy 5 Save $5, items are all .99 each wyb 5 (inside flap of ad). I bought 3 Marie's Salad Dressing (in the produce section), Used 3 $1/1 from 1/31 SS. Also bought 2 Fresh Express Salad blends and used 2 $1/1 from the Jewel Strawberry Heart coupon booklet. Final Price for all 5 items - FREE with .05 overage. You need 5 total so you can adjust how many of each item based on what coupons you have (there is a $1/1 Maries Printable here).
- Buy 5 Save $5, items are $1 each wyb 5 (bottom of front of ad) - I bought 3 Quaker Oat Squares Cereals, Used 3 $1/1 from 2/14 RP. Also bought 2 Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Used 2 expired $1/1 any Kellogg's Corn Flakes from 11/8/09. Final Price for all 5 items - FREE.
- Buy 5 Save $5, items are $1.50 each wyb 5 (bottom of front of ad) - I bought 2 Honey Nut Cheerios, Used 2 .55/1 Cellfire (I had this loaded twice) and 1 expired $1/2 General Mills Cereal. Also bought 2 Nature Valley Granola Bars, Used 2 .40/1 cellfire and 1 expired $1.10/2 from Better at Home Booklet. And bought 1 Nature Valley Nut Cluster - Used 2 $1/1 cellfire and $1/1 shortcuts and $1/1 catalina coupon. Final Price for all 5 items FREE plus .50 overage. (I got $2.50 in overage for the Nut Clusters to put towards the cost of the other items).
- Yoplait Delights Parfait Yogurt - $2.50, Used 2 $1/1 cellfire (had this loaded twice), plus 1 expired $1/1 from 11/8 SS. Final Price FREE plus .50 overage.
- Frozen Veggies - $1.50 (to eat up the overage from the deals above)
NOTE: Be sure to check all of your expiration dates on the cereal! I found several boxes that had already expired in Feb and Mar of this year! Eek!
