Free Chicago Area Museum Adventure Passes with your Library Card


I just saw this at our local library - Use your library card to receive FREE admission or a special discount at 17 Chicago area cultural destinations!

Libraries from three Illinois Regional Library Systems – Dupage (DLS), Metropolitan (MLS), and North Suburban (NSLS) Library Systems - are participating in the Museum Adventure Pass program. Start your Museum Adventure by visiting your public library to check out a pass. Passes are restricted to registered borrowers of each library. The loan period is SEVEN DAYS, and will expire after the date printed on the pass. Go here to find a participating library.

Visit any of the following places (each pass admits 4 people except where noted):
  • Arlington Heights Museum
  • Bronzeville Children's Museum (admits 2)
  • Brookfield Zoo (admits 2)
  • Cantigny Park (admits 1 car)
  • Chicago Botanic Gardens (admits 1 car)
  • Cuneo Museum and Garden
  • Elgin History Museum
  • Elgin Public Museum
  • Graue Mill and Museum
  • Hellenic Museum
  • Kidswork Children's Museum (admits 2)
  • Kohl's Children's Museum (admits 2)
  • Lake County Discovery Museum (admits 2)
  • Mitchell Museum of the American Indian
  • Morton Arboretum
  • Oriental Institute Museum
  • St. Charles Heritage Museum
Passes are limited to general admission. Program is valid until August 31, 2010!
