Walgreens Trip 12/12/09

Headed to Walgreens today after a failed trip yesterday (everything I wanted was wiped off the shelf). The midweek ad ends today so if you want to get in on these deals you'd have to go today.

I paid $2.53 oop for everything pictured above, rolled $15 of RR and earned $19 in RR for a net profit of $1.47!

Here's how it breaks down:

Paid $2.53 in cash and got back $14 in RR ($2 Scrunci, $2 Dentek, $5 Neutrogena, $5 for making a $25 purchase)

Drat - the $5 RR for the Triaminic didn't print. Double Drat - it didn't print because I USED Triaminic RR to pay. Crud. See this is why I try to stay out of Walgreen's because even though I've been doing this for years now, I still make mistakes. Cashier was so nice and re-rang so they would print. Success!

Left with $19 in RR - for a net profit of $1.47 and now I have the extra puzzles I needed to buy anyway for the preschool goodie bags (didn't buy enough at 75% off last Xmas) and some cookie tins!
