I have read at many reliable sources today that Jewel registers have received a recent update that now fixes the issues with catalinas being generated on regular price not sale price. Catalina's will now work the same way as all other stores and you will not get the catalina unless you spend enough based on the sale price.
This is very sad news as this was a great way to maximize your savings. Just wanted you all to have a heads up on this issue.
